Louie @ SLeazy's & Fratellis in the sun !!

Sleazy's is superb. its rock n roll right in yer face.you can taste it in the pints!! Last night was Louie http://www.myspace.com/louiemusic Have a listen to Trees and One big Repeat here. the warm up was Red Snowman and some other lot but i wasnt so blown away by these college side projects. i wanted to see a real band! and i wasn’t disappointed. Louie's combined age is about 16 but what an accomplished sound and stage presence. I was amazed at such a sound and there are only 25 of them in the band too. These boys know how to dish it out big style. A free single, a T shirt for a fiver and free badges (do people still wear badges?) not to mention a fantastic set from beginning to end. After being slightly disappointed by several gigs recently it was refreshing to see an up and coming band who lived up to all i thought they might be. Absolutly Rocking!!! Get into them now!!they are superb!

Oh and bumping into the Fratellis was Nice. I was so amazed. Not that i bumped into them destroying a posh suburban Street - i was amazed that Glasgow finally had some real sun! the new single sounds superb! Defo the sound of things to come!

Kooks May 4th Glasgow QMU

Average - Nuff said

Dustins Bar Mitzvah + 1990's Glasgow Art School 6May06

Be Bright Be breezy be Gone!!! that about sums up DBM last night. A late night for the young boys left me thinking their folks would be mad if they knew they were still out at this time. 1am they finally came on stage!!! and they were the support to the brilliant Glasgow outfit the 1990's who sauntered on some time around 2 i think. it was all hazy around this point. DBM were superb it has to be said as were the 1990's but i was here for DBM. it seems it was only me as the crowd was a little sparse to say the least, but that made it all the more memorable. A matter of fact set but banging tunes !! superb!!! bring it on!!!!! DBM - your new favourite band!!!
